talabat Egypt, the leading technology platform for online ordering across the MENA, announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Tafweela, startup that allows businesses to monitor fleet vehicles payments.

In a new step towards expanding the concept of digital transformation across various sectors, aiming to digitize talabat’s rewards system for the riders, enabling them to redeem loyalty points for petroleum products through Tafweela’s extensive network of fuel stations across Egypt.

This step marks a major advancement in supporting more than 28,000 riders collaborating with talabat, providing them with the opportunity to redeem part of the rewards points they earn through talabat for petroleum products such as gasoline.

This system will later expand to include oils and motorcycle accessories — all through the Tafweela app, which allows users to select the nearest fuel station from more than 500 stations covering 27 governorates across Egypt.

As part of the partnership implementation, Tafweela coordinated with the top 50 authorized talabat agents, and all vehicles have been registered to ensure a seamless service experience.

The service operates through a smart mechanism that enables the rider to select a station, where the station’s employee reads the vehicle’s plate number and automatically initiates the fueling process based on the balance available in the agent’s account through the app.

Commenting on the partnership, Hadeer Shalaby, Managing Director of talabat Egypt, stated:
“Believing in the vital role played our partners in success, the riders, we are always keen on providing the tools and solutions that empower them to perform their tasks with the highest efficiency and minimum effort. They are the main interface that connects us with our customers, and their daily experience directly reflects the quality of service we deliver.”

She added:”From this perspective, our partnership with Tafweela came as a practical step to enhance this experience by providing an easy and effective digital system, in addition to integrating technology into one of the most crucial aspects of the riders’ daily experience — vehicle refueling.

We believe that accelerating the pace of digitalization at every point of interaction is a direct investment in the sustainability of our business, the efficiency of our ecosystem, and the quality of the service we provide.

Our partnership with Tafweela reaffirms our vision towards a future driven by technology to offer smart and practical solutions that make a tangible difference in the lives of the riders”.

This partnership strengthens Tafweela’s position as a leading provider of fuel management automation solutions, having contributed to doubling the number of vehicles registered with Tafweela to over 40,000 vehicles.

In this context, Reem Safy, Founder of T-Vencubator, said:”We are delighted with this partnership, which represents an inspiring model of integration between startups and major platforms. It demonstrates how technology can redefine the rider’s experience in the Egyptian market.

We are proud to support Tafweela at this crucial stage of its growth, especially as it embodies our vision at T-Vencubator — empowering ambitious startups to play a pivotal role in developing the digital infrastructure of Egypt and the region.”

Reem added:”We believe that true innovation happens when smart solutions meet real market needs. That’s why we supported Tafweela — a company offering a unique technological model in a sector that for years has relied on traditional methods. Through T-Vencubator, we aim to create an integrated ecosystem to support promising tech companies by providing funding, strategic guidance, and connections with key partners who can accelerate their growth and impact.”

This strategic partnership will enhance the mechanisms of digital transformation in the delivery sector, aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030, which aims to activate digitalization across various economic sectors by introducing revolutionary solutions in vehicle payment systems and digitizing traditional payment processes.
